The leaks are over and now Bethesda has started revealing all things RAGE 2. The game was first unveiled thanks to an unfortunate leak from Walmart Canada where a good portion of E3 2018’s best kept secrets were unceremoniously dumped onto the internet. Bethesda then teased fans for a few days before giving the official announcement yesterday. That was just another tease though, for today when we get our first look at actual gameplay thanks to the official RAGE 2 gameplay trailer, which you can check out below.
The game looks simply fantastic, offering exceptionally high quality visuals for Bethesda’s action shooter. “In RAGE 2, you’ll dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order,” reads the description. “You can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. The game brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world mayhem and id Software, gods of the first-person shooter – to deliver a carnival of carnage.”
Looks like fans of the first game and the shooter genre as a whole are in for a treat with RAGE 2. The game has a very solid pedigree behind it with Avalanche Studios and id Software behind the helm.
