Today (February 13), Nintendo held their first Nintendo Direct presentation of the year. This stream was filled with more than thirty-five minutes worth of announcements, updates, and reveals of upcoming Switch games, but for those of you who don’t necessarily want to dedicate half an hour to these various announcements, here’s a summary of the main points made during the video. If there’s a particular announcement that you’re more interested in, you can click on the link given in that point, where applicable, that will take you to an article with more in-depth information on that announcement. For those who do want to watch the full Nintendo Direct, you can find the video at the bottom of this article.

  • Super Mario Maker 2 was revealed and will launch this June.
  • Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order was detailed and will launch exclusively on the Switch this summer.
  • A new BOXBOY game called BOXBOY + BOXGIRL will feature new playable characters and 270 stages and will launch on April 26.
  • Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ver. 3.0 is coming this spring and the DLC character Joker will be available before the end of April.
  • A free update is coming to the Switch version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker later today and paid DLC is coming on March 14.
  • Castlevania spiritual successor Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will include character customization and will launch this summer.
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2 launches on July 12.
  • A Switch port of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, called Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, will include additional content and is coming this fall.
  • Disney Tsum Tsum Festival is coming to the Switch sometime in 2019.
  • More Star Fox missions are coming to Starlink: Battle for Atlas in April.
  • A remastered version of Rune Factory 4 called Rune Factory 4 Special is coming to the Switch sometime this year.
  • Rune Factory 5 is confirmed in development.
  • I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear developer Tokyo RPG Factory is working on a new game called ONINAKI.
  • A demo of Yoshi’s Crafted World will be available later today.
  • A bunch of information about Fire Emblem: Three Houses was given, including its July 26 release date.
  • A free, online-multiplayer version of Tetris called Tetris 99 will be available to download later today.
  • Dead by Daylight is coming to the Switch this fall.
  • The first chapter of Toby Fox’s Deltarune is coming to the Switch on February 28 and will be free.
  • A demo of Daemon X Machina will be available later today and the full game will come out this summer.
  • Racing game GRID Autosport is coming to the Switch this summer.
  • Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is coming to the Switch this spring.
  • A reminder that Mortal Kombat 11 is launching on the Switch on April 23.
  • Puzzle-platformer Unravel two is coming to the Switch on March 22.
  • Assassin’s Creed III Remastered is coming to the Switch along with all of its DLC and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation Remastered on May 21.
  • Final Fantasy VII will become available on the Switch on March 26.
  • Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! is coming to the Switch on March 20.
  • Final Fantasy IX will be available on the Switch later today.
  • Astral Chain, a new game by Bayonetta and NieR:Automata developer PlatinumGames, is launching on the Switch on August 30.
  • A remake of the classic Game Boy game The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is in development and will launch sometime this year.
