How to Repair Gear in V Rising

Recommended Videos

The newest indie darling to capture the hearts of players is V Rising, a survival/crafting game where you’ll need to build a castle, survive and fight against powerful foes, and make new materials until you become the most powerful vampire in the land. Since you need to do everything in your power to survive not only the sunlight but the onslaught of foes that you’ll encounter in the game, you’ll need to make sure that your gear is in tip-top shape.

Thankfully, you’ll be able to use some of your leftover materials to repair your weapons and armor in V Rising. But, how do you do this, making sure that you’re always in tip-top shape to square up against the next big boss that you track down using your Blood Altar? Find out here!

As with many other games in the ilk, you’ll need to make sure that you’re keeping an eye on the durability of your weapons and armor. You’ll be able to know when it’s time to fix your gear if you get a large yellow indicator that shows up in the center of the screen. Depending on the type of armor or weapon that you have, you’ll need different materials to make sure that they’re back to tip-top shape.

Thankfully, the process to make your gear look good as new is quite simple. Just follow these steps to see what you’ll need, as well as how to repair your gear!

  • Open your Inventory
  • Hover your mouse over the Gear you’re looking to repair
  • If you have the proper materials, click the Middle Mouse Button to repair your gear

That’s all there is to it! As stated before, you’ll need to make sure that you have the proper amount of materials to repair your gear, and it all varies depending on the type of gear that you currently have equipped. For example, Plated Boneguard Boots require 14 Bone and 34 Animal Hide to repair, and you’ll also be able to see the amount of durability that is remaining under those amounts.

Making sure that you’re keeping up on your armor quality is key to surviving some of the harder fights, so before you go and challenge the Alpha Wolf make sure that you’re gathering up some proper materials and repairing your gear before going on this adventure.

V Rising is available now, in early access, on Microsoft Windows.
