Red Dead Redemption 2 has so many little secrets in it that even at the end game there’s a ton to see and do.  This is a list of things to do and see once you’ve let the credits roll.  As a warning the rest of the post will talk about things to do AFTER you’ve beaten the game, so we’re going to be talking about things that are spoilers to some key aspects of the story if you haven’t beaten the game already.

Work on the Marston Ranch

After the Epilogue Missions in Red Dead Redemption 2 you’ll get full access to the Marston Ranch and it’s got some interesting mechanics to explore.  You can have unique dialogue options with Abigail, Jack, and Uncle as well as some unique missions.  Here’s a list of things you can do at Beecher’s Hope.

Gun Collecting

There are a bunch of different guns to collect in Red Dead Redemption 2 alongside the ones you may have already collected during your time with the story.  Some of these guns only unlock once you’ve completed the campaign so it’s worth it to try getting them if you want to explore the game even further. This RDR2 Gun Collecting Guide can get you started.

Horse Collecting

If you didn’t manage to collect any of the rare horses in Red Dead Redemption 2 there are some much better ones out in the wild than you can buy at any stable.  The White Arabian and Bay Mustang are two of the rarest horses in the game with the highest stats, but they’re only located in a couple of different locations.  This guide will help you locate Rare Horses in RDR2.

Easter Eggs

From UFOS and mysterious monster bones to hidden caves and mutant creations, there’s no shortage of Easter Eggs and Secrets in Red Dead Redemption 2.  Some you may stumble across during the story, but if you missed any, the end game is a good time to go back and see them.

Pay your Respects

Plenty of your friends will die along the way in Red Dead Redemption 2.  One of the cool features of the game is that they will be buried along the way in hidden grave sites that you can go back and visit.  Our RDR2 Grave Locations Guide can help you find all nine of the hidden grave sites for the Van Der Linde gang and friends.

Master Hunter

There are many legendary animals in Red Dead Redemption 2.  You might not have tracked them all down during the story.  If you didn’t these legendary hunts will take you to some areas of the game that allow you to take in this beautiful world while trying to track down your prey.  This Legendary Animals guide can help locate some of these animals.

Master Fisherman

So you want to hang up your weapons and become the next Jeremy Gill?  Become a master fisherman once the credits roll and head out to find the biggest fish in the world with this Legendary Fishing Guide.

Cheat Code Hunt

At the time of this writing all of the cheat codes in Red Dead Redemption still haven’t been found.  That’s likely because Rockstar has opted to hide them in obscure locations.  Some of them are easy to find, but others are very easy to miss.  You can find cheat codes in newspapers, scrawled on structures, out in nature, in drawers, and who else knows where the developer has chosen to hide them.  Here’s a list of all the Cheat Codes in RDR2 that we’ve found.

Explore New Austin

Some of the activities above will definitely take you into the depths of New Austin.  This area from Red Dead Redemption has been recreated for Red Dead Redemption 2 and it’s a beautiful take on the American Southwest.  Whether you’re combing the area for cheat codes, on the hunt for rare weapons, or hunting down the legendary black panther, there’s plenty to do in this massive section of the game.
